Reserve Officer Program

Are you interested in a Reserve Officer Position with the Lavon Police Department?

All Reserve Officers are required to be TCOLE certified. Your first step is to fill out the City of Lavon Employment Application at the link below and turn it in to the Lavon Police Department. Once your application is reviewed you will be contacted to meet with us and pick up a Personal History Statement. Reserve Officers with the Lavon Police Department are required to complete the same Field Officer Training Program as our Fulltime Officers. Reserve Officers are expected to maintain an average of 12 hours per two-week period. Once released  from training, our Reserve Officers work on their own, just as our fulltime officers do.
