Responsibilities

The primary function of the Public Works Department is to provide our customers with a high level of satisfaction through prompt response to concerns and properly implemented maintenance and construction programs. The Public Works Department is responsible for the cost efficient Administration and Operation of the public services provided by the City in the areas of:

- Building Inspection
- Civil Engineering
- Construction Inspection
- Construction Project Administration
- Environmental Services
- Fleet Maintenance for all city vehicles
- Street and Drainage systems
- Transportation Engineering
